Would you like to work for Basecamp Eco-resorts? We are currently looking for 3 handymen/handywomen that would like to join us for 3 months at Amsterdam Beach (Netherlands). You’ll be working with your hands, have a good time and build on developing Basecamp Eco-resorts.
Basecamp Amsterdam Beach is a new style holiday park existing of 35 different tiny houses and 6 tiny offices, in a festival look & feel and with greenhouses for growing vegetables. It’s virtually self-sufficient in energy with three 10Kw micro windmills, 140 solar panels of 390 Wp and a battery storage of 0.5 Mw.
Basecamp IJmuiden is an experimental testing ground that serves as a blueprint for the development of new Basecamp eco-resorts worldwide.
What will you be doing
- Placing, connecting, decorating new tiny houses on the site etc.
- Construction of infrastructure for new tiny houses etc.
- Building terraces, decorating the site etc.
- Other common (technical) work on site etc.
What are we looking for
- You are good with your hand and have common sense
- You know about plumbing, carpentry, electricity or are willing to learn
- You are motivated and willing to work hard
- You communicate well, are a team player and speak English well enough
- You want to grow with us and go to other new Basecamp Eco-resorts worldwide
