With your dog to Basecamp IJmuiden
At Basecamp IJmuiden you can bring a maximum of one dog at some of our Tiny Houses. You are less than 100 meters from the beach, ideal for getting a breath of fresh air together. (During high season there are specific zones where dogs are allowed)
Because not all our guests are always fond of dogs, we ask to take this into account and to have your dog on a leash at all times and not to leave your dog alone in your Tiny House. In connection with availability and registration, it is mandatory to indicate when booking that your four-legged friend is coming with you. You pay €15.00 per stay for the dog.

Dogs on the beach
In order to find a balance between all users of the beach and the dogs, there are a number of rules on the beach during different times of the year:
1 Oct to 1 Apr
Zone 1 and 2* – Running loose
Zone 3 and 4** – Running loose
Around the lake on leash
Small beach (Kleine strand)*** – on leash
1 Apr to 1 Oct
Zone 1 and 2* – No dogs allowed
Zone 3 and 4** – Run loose
Around the lake on leash
Small beach*** – No dogs allowed
*Dogs are not allowed on IJmuiden beach between the Zuidpier and IJmuiderslag from 1 April to 1 October.
**Zone 3 and 4 are on a small 15 minutes walking distance of Basecamp Ijmuiden.
***No dogs are allowed on the so-called Kleine Strand in IJmuiden (between the North and the South Pier) from 1 April to 1 October.
